Membership Questions

Why should I register as a Karisma member?
There are many benefits to registering as a Karisma member. Firstly it's FREE to register as a member and only takes about a minute. Then you will be keep informed of all our special events and promotions, this can be either by email or text to your mobile phone (your choice). You will also be entered into our monthly members prize draw to win fantastic money can't buy prizes.
Please Note: We take the security of your personal details very seriously. We NEVER sell or pass on your details to anyone else.

I don't want to register online - how else can I join?
We have a membership desk in the club where you can sign up FREE of charge to become a member. Just ask at the pay pay desk in the upper reception.

 

Gold Card Questions

Why should I buy a Gold Card?
The benefits of purchasing a Gold Card are amazing!
Firstly you get all the same benefits as members plus you get to que jump and use the lift (at the discretion of our door staff and management).
You earn loyalty points with every purchase you make including your entry into the club.
So for example if you buy a round of drinks for £10 you will get 100* points on your card, this is worth £1.00 which is deducted off your next purchase.
Plus you are automatically entered into our 'Gold' prize draw with prizes such as a VIP table for the night (worth over £180) and much much more. All this for just £30 a year.

If you are a regular visitor to Karisma you would be crazy not to!

Buying a Gold Card in the club during working hours
You can visit the club at any time during normal working hours to purchase your Gold Card. Just call the number on the intercom system from any phone to let us know you are here and someone will come down to take your order. Your Gold Card will then be mailed to your home address.

Buying your Gold Card Online
You can buy a Gold Card from this website using your credit card which is very quick and easy, or you can buy a Gold Card when you are in the club on any night- just ask at the payment desk at the upper reception.
Also from time to time we run competitions with Gold Cards as prizes, so make sure you register which is FREE and takes about a minute.

How do I get my Gold Card after I purchased it?
If you purchase your Gold Card online it will be posted to you within 7 days (usually within 3 working days). This will be delivered to you by first class royal mail and will come with your usual post man/woman.
If you purchase your Gold Card in the club it may be issued to you there and then, although due to time constraints this may not be possible, in which case it will be delivered to your home address by first class royal mail.

What if I lose my Gold Card?
Your account information is not stored on your card, it's all stored on our systems so no need to worry if you have lost your Gold Card. Your Gold Card simply tells us your account number. As a security measure we may ask for your name, address and date of birth at anytime when you use your Gold Card.
In the event of you losing your Gold Card please report the loss to the pay desk at the upper reception. They will then issue you with a new Gold Card. We do charge a £10 admin fee for this.

 

 

VIP Lounge Questions

I want to reserve a table in the VIP lounge how do I do it?
You can reserve VIP tables via this website using your credit card. Please note that table bookings are reserved on a first come first served basis so we recommend that you reserve your table as early as possible.
Please Note: The Management reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.

How much does a VIP table cost?

Can anyone reserve a VIP table?
Yes anyone can reserve a VIP table provided they (and their guests) meet the door policy criteria and dress code criteria on the night.

Ticket Questions

Why should I buy a ticket, can't I pay on the door?
You can pay on the door every night except for special events. We always publicise that these special events are ticket only via this website and by email or text to our members.
It's FREE to register as a member and you are kept up to date on events.
Also if you buy a ticket for a 'non-special event' it reserves your place in the club as we get very busy and have to turn people away.
Please Note: The Management reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone at any time.

It's my Birthday and I want to celebrate it in Karisma - what can you do?
When you register as a member we ask for your date of birth. Our systems then automatically pick up your birthday, our promotions team will then contact you to discuss plans for your birthday. There is no cost to your for this service all you need to do is register for FREE with us.


 

Door Policy Questions

What is the door Policy?
We have a very strict door policy which is enforced by our door team. We regard our door team as one of the best in the business and their decision is always final.
We have very strict age restrictions on Friday and Saturday nights which are both 21's and over. This means if you are 21 years of age or older then you are welcome but if you are 20 years of age or under you will not be allowed in. Tuesday and Thursday night are 18's and above.
 
We always recommend you bring personal Identification with you.
Our door team operate a Proof 25 policy, which means if you look under 25 you may be asked for ID.
If our door team are not 100% sure you are at or above the age of admission you will not be allowed in.
The very best way to avoid and misunderstandings is to always bring ID with you. This can be a passport or a drivers licence or any formal ID with a photograph on it.
Birth certificate will not be accepted

What is the dress code?
The dress code is simple and the same on every night other than Rock Night.
Items allowed on rock night are marked (allowed on Rock Night).

Our door team and management team have good taste in clothes and reserve the right to refuse any person entry at any time who offends them with bad taste in clothing - without having to give a reason. We also reserve the right to eject anyone from the venue as we see fit.

What is your Drugs Policy?
We have a super strict policy on drugs. Absolute ZERO tolerance!
We perform random drug searches on our customers, this could be whilst you are in the que to enter the club (upper reception) or whilst you are actually in the club. In the event of finding drugs present on a customer our door team will restrain the customer and hold them until the police arrive. We prosecute to the full extent of the law in EVERY single case.
We want to create a fun and safe environment for all of our customers. Taking a hard line on drugs is just one of the measures that we take to ensure this!
WARNING: If you take or deal drugs - you are not welcome in Karisma!

I work at a pub in Town do I get a discount?
We give discounts to several groups of people, bar staff and door staff from pubs in town are included and are always more than welcome in the club. You will need to supply a recent pay slip (within the last 2 months) as proof that you work at a pub in town. If you are known to our management or door team this may not be necessary.

Are there any job vacancies at Karisma?
There are usually vacancies so the best thing to do is to apply anyway. Then if we don't have a vacancy now we will contact you when one comes up.

How do I apply for a job?
For all jobs please send your recent CV to: Jobs@KarismaNightclub.co.uk as well as a covering letter telling us about you and why you want to work with us. If you don't have email just drop it through the letter box at the club.
Please Note: Your CV is important so please make sure you have prepared it well. If it looks rubbish it will be filed along with the rubbish.

What are the benefits of working at Karisma?
There are many benefits of working at Karisma regardless of your role. We are a very highly motivated team who work to targets and are monitored and rewarded on them. At Karisma every job is crucial to the smooth running of the club whether you are the manager or the glass collector.
If you don't drive we can also arrange transport to and from work for you - a very small contribution is taking from your wages for this service.

In house training and ongoing training
We are always looking at ways to improve our teams skills. We regularly run in-house training courses to help you in your chosen role. Customer service is a major factor for us so customer service training is ongoing.

We believe passionately that our staff see our venue and our business from a different perspective. This puts our staff in the prefect position to feedback and put forward idea's forward to our management team to improve our business and our customers experience.
